MIUI 8 Update

on 19 August, Xiaomi's (MI's) latest user interface MIUI 8 just rolled out to some of their devices. Redmi 1S is one of the device which got the update. Xiaomi says they will start rolling out global stable ROM releases from August 23rd for public. Not only global but China will also get the MIUI 8 rolled out on August 23rd. 

Devices which will support MUI 8 are- Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3G, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S/Prime, Mi 2/2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 5, Mi Note, Mi Max 32GB.
